I met Mark Beaumont (minus his trademark forest gump stylee beard) at a corporate event last year. Last year Mark smashed the world record for the fastest man around the globe on bicycle (18,296 miles in 194 days 17 hours... a record I have no intention of challenging) and featured in a BBC2 documentary entitled 'The Man Who Cycled The World'.
